The Faculty cooperates with many foreign higher education institutions and other organisations. It is integrated in the most important European programmes that promote inter-university education and research.
Since 2005, the Faculty has been engaged in
establishing social work study at the University of Colombo.
On the basis of continuing international collaboration, the Faculty has created and coordinates the double-degree
International Doctoral Studies in Social Work (INDOSOW), accredited at four European universities. Students started to enrol in 2009.
