Ethics in social work is a course in the framework of the module Social justice and inclusion. The course is focused on ethics in social work: on ethical questions, dilemmas and values in social work. The course provides the students with critical thinking skills and competences for identification and dealing with ethical dilemmas in social work practice. Students will acquire skills necessary for ethical decision making in social work situations and for understanding the complexity of social work practice with the help of different thematizations (i.e: disability, gender, ethnicity etc.). Students will address their own values, legal frameworks, organizational cultures etc.
