1. Education: 1997 graduated at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Ljubljana, 2004, completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, module in Sociology – Social work in the community; 2007 defended doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Social Work, University in Ljubljana.

2. Employment and titles: Home for older people Preddvor (employed as a social worker probationer from 1997 – 1998, state exam in the field of social welfare in 1998, worked as a social worker from 1998 - 2004; University of Ljubljana, High School of Social Work (assistant from 2002 to 2010); Faculty of Social Work (young researcher from 2004 to 2007, senior researcher from June 2007 to October 2007, assistant from October 2007 to March 2010, assistant professor from March 2010 to June 2015, associate professor from June 2015).

3. Leading positions and capabilities: Faculty of Social Work: 2007 - 2011 Coordinator of the Centre for professional training (edited four catalogues of seminars; annual worked with 15 to 20 contractors of seminars; coordinated the operators of seminars; in total she organised 42 seminars attended by 646 participants) Inter University Centre, Dubrovnik: from 2012 director of international postgraduate training program Working with Old Age at the IUC School for Social Work Theory and Practice. As director of the education program she annually organizes a week-long educational program with the participation of international scientists, professionals and students. The programme makes up the opportunity of developing the science and profession of social work, the exchange of experiences in scientific research and practical action and new forms of international cooperation. By taking over the managerial role at the IUC, the project manager encouraged the expansion of knowledge and the promotion of science of social work in the local environment of the School of Social Work Theory and Practice. Therefore the School of Social Work Theory and Practice from 2012 cooperates closely with local scientists and researchers. She gained the ability of leading positions in 2013 as the president of the Executive Committee of the Fifth Congress of Social Work, which was attended by 16 members. Membership of the committee was composed of representatives of the Faculty of Social Work and the Association of Social Workers of Slovenia, two organizers by the Congress. Among the co-organizers of the congress, who also had members at the Executive Committee of the Congress, were the representatives of the Social Chamber of Slovenia, Community Centres for Social Work Slovenia and Community of Social Institutions of Slovenia. Within three days the congress was attended by 300 social workers, the users of social services, and a variety of experts, researchers of social work, social action and human behaviour. Since 2008 she is the coordinator of the Master's degree in Social work with the older people. She coordinates eleven colleagues performing the program. Since 2010, she is the coordinator of the module study Social work with the older people that is part of general study Social work on graduate study. There she coordinates seven colleagues performing the program. In the context of pedagogical work she has been a mentor or co-mentor for over 170 students of social work in their diploma thesis, mentor for two students in specialist work and co-mentor to one student in the master's thesis.

4. Membership in professional committees at home and abroad: 2006: State of the function of the team PPGC (Gerontological Centre Maribor); 2006 -: member of Working group of social workers at home for the older people at the Community of Social Institutions Slovenia; 2007 -: President of the Committee for International Cooperation at the Faculty of Social Work; 2007 -: member of the group for technical verification of programs in the field of social protection at the Social Chamber of Slovenia; 2007-: Member of the Expert Council of the Institution for community care Ljubljana; 2008: member of the expert group DOMIS, with the purpose of 36 months maintenance of information system for monitoring operations and reporting activities of social institutions at the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs; 2009 - 2012: Member of the committee for the assessment of applications for social security programs of the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs; 2009: President of commission for the exam of coordinators for community care at the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs; 2010 - 2011: Member of the Executive Committee Šent, Slovenian Association for Mental Health, 2010 -: Member of the Council on issues of older people in the Municipality of Ljubljana; 2012: member of the National Committee of the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations 2012, and the Operational Committee of the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations; 2013 -: Member of the Executive Committee of Gerontological Society of Slovenia; 2015 -: President of social section at Gerontological Society of Slovenia. Organizing and Scientific Panels at major conferences with international participation: Member of the Scientific Council of the program at The Second Congress of Social Work (2005), The Third Congress of Social Work (2007), The Fourth Congress of Social Work (2010).
