Tanja Lamovec, PhD, was a psychologist and a professor at the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. In addition, as a user of psychiatric services for many years she was also the pioneer of advocacy activities in Slovenia. She wrote several expert books, including two acclaimed books in the field of advocacy, When the Solution Becomes a Problem and Medication Becomes Poison and How to Think Otherness.
