Educational ecosystem for the acquisition of digital competencies of educators and students

The purpose of the project is to upgrade the existing support system for educators and students in the use of ICT with a focus on promoting the development of digital knowledge, competences and skills. Various support services and a team will be developed and upgraded to enable professional development and the acquisition of knowledge in the field of digital knowledge, competences and skills of educators and students using various ICTs. Within the project, smart classrooms will be established, which will be based on the thoughtful, safe and didactic use of ICT and will enable educators to use the acquired knowledge in their own subject areas. Through active involvement in the pedagogical process and solving model problem situations that will arise in cooperation with external experts, students will be faced with challenges that they will encounter in their own careers using ICT. Both teachers and students of the University of Ljubljana will be involved in the evaluation of digital competences at the beginning and end of the pilot project with the aim of measuring progress in the development of digital competences and the effectiveness of the established support system. The project is closely linked to other pilot projects of the University of Ljubljana and will complement and support them in the field of ICT use in the pedagogical process.
