Summary:

The project was focused on psychological aspect of yoga, namely on influences of yoga practice on mental health. A yoga teacher created a specially adopted programme for people with mental health problems and was practiced with users of Ozara, a humanitarian organization working in the field of social and health care. With the help of professors and students of three collaborating faculties the programme has been adopted and improved during the practice. The results of this practical work were an improved programme of yoga practice adopted for people with mental health problems, and an interview on positive effects of yoga practice that was carried out with the users. Along with practical work, a theoretical research was carried out with the students and professors in the field of yoga psychology and yoga therapy for psychical health. The results of this theoretical investigation were an article written in English and a practical brochure, both of them created for people with mental health problems and for people who are professionally or otherwise connected with this field.
