- Authorization of a social worker in partner relationships (especially pre-divorce counseling);
- Role of a social worker in determining parenthood;
- Legal instruments of a social worker for the protection of the child's interests when the child's parents decide not to live together: composing the opinion of the social work center on the most suitable arrangement for the child's upbringing, care, maintenance, and child contacts (with parents, with third parties);
- Authority of a social worker in cases of abuse, neglect, and other threats to the child's interests: the social worker as a proposer or participant in procedures for the protection of the child's interests before the court;
- Responsibilities of a social worker in the field of adoptions;
- Role of a social worker in fostering (e.g., selecting a foster parent, placing the child with the foster parent, monitoring fostering, involvement in the work of an individual project group);
- Social work in guardianship matters (e.g., selecting a guardian, supervising the implementation of guardianship, termination of guardianship): for children, for adults (submitting a proposal to the court for the appointment of a guardian, inventory of assets, guardianship reports), appointment of a guardian for a special case.
